• A Natural Sanctuary: Our grounds are our pride and joy. With 25 acres of open green space, we share our home with nature. It’s common to see geese and ducks at the pond, and we always delight in an occasional visit from a blue heron or the deer that wander in from the northern woodlands, which are protected forever by a conservation easement.
• Quietly Connected: While we enjoy a sense of calm and seclusion, we are perfectly positioned for city life. We are just minutes from the University of Michigan, major medical facilities, and the vibrant research hubs at Domino’s Farms and the Toyota Technical Center.

 

Our community sits on storied land—the former 300-acre farm of Harry Earhart. The elegant, English-style Earhart Manor still stands nearby at Concordia University as a beautiful reminder of our history.

• Distinctive Architecture: Built in the early 1970s, our Village won awards for its innovative "Neo-Italian" design. We offer seven unique floorplans to fit different lifestyles, from the sun-drenched, one-story Valencia (Atrium model) to our spacious two-story homes like the Tuscany and Majorca.
• A Personal Touch: Every unit features a basement and a detached garage. Over the years, our co-owners have poured their hearts into interior renovations, ensuring that while our exteriors remain classic, our interiors are as modern and unique as the people who live here.

• Community & Fun: Our Clubhouse is a wonderful gathering spot for neighbors, complete with meeting rooms and a kitchen. Just outside, our private heated pool is a hub of activity from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
• Outdoor & Leisure: If you enjoy fresh air, you'll love being steps away from city nature parks. Earhart Park across the street provides charming walking trails, and the Tom Freeman Preserve and Marshall Nature Area provide miles of walking trails only minutes away. Finally, we are 0.5 miles from Windermere park with publicly accessible tennis courts.

At its heart, Earhart Village is about the people. We are a truly diverse group—attorneys and artists, teachers and nurses, young families and retirees—all coming together from many different walks of life.

• Self-Governed with Care: Our nine-member Board of Directors consists of elected co-owners who truly care about the Village. Our meetings are always open, because we believe that a spirit of courtesy and cooperation is what keeps our community strong.
• Easy, Worry-Free Living: Our Association takes care of the heavy lifting. Your monthly fee covers your water and sewer, fire insurance, and all the "big" chores like snow removal, lawn care, and exterior building maintenance.
